Terms & Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and www.halongcruisetrip.com/ Go Today Travel (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or booking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part, you must not use this website or our services. We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- Booking & Payment
- Bookings may be made directly through our website or via email, chat, WhatsApp, or phone.
- A booking is only confirmed once we receive a deposit (or full payment) and issue an official confirmation letter with payment details.
- Payments must be made no later than the due date stated in your booking confirmation. Failure to do so may result in cancellation and applicable charges.
- Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, bank transfer, or cash (USD/VND at current exchange rate).
- Card processing fee: A 3.5% surcharge applies to credit card payments. In certain cases (e.g., last-minute bookings or special promotions), we may waive or adjust this fee at our discretion.
Deposit
- Standard deposit: 30% of total booking value.
- Special promotions or offers may require a higher deposit or full payment.
- Deposits are refundable according to the cancellation policy, unless otherwise specified for special promotions.
Balance Payment
- Due at least 5 days before departure (credit card) or on the day of departure (cash).
Full Payment
- Required for bookings made within 3 days of departure and for certain special promotions.
- Pricing
- All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.
- We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate. However, errors may occur, and we reserve the right to correct them.
- If an incorrect price is applied, you may either:
- Cancel and receive a refund, or
- Confirm your booking at the correct price.
Important Notice on Pricing
Displayed prices are for reference only and may vary depending on several factors, including:
- Availability of specific cabin or suite categories (some may be on promotion or sold out)
- Ongoing promotional campaigns by the cruise operator
- Early-bird discounts or last-minute rates
- Volume-based bonuses or exclusive deals negotiated by us
- Changes in local government taxes or service fees

VAT Information
To provide the most competitive rates, prices shown on our website exclude VAT (currently 8%). The applicable VAT will be added to your booking confirmation unless clearly noted as included in a special promotion.
- Once a deposit is received, the package price will not change, regardless of cost increases on our side.
- You are responsible for additional costs arising from changes made by you.
- Inclusions & Exclusions
- Inclusions and exclusions vary depending on the cruise. Please review carefully before booking.
- Key items to check include transfers (Hanoi-Halong round trip), kayaking, meals, and extra benefits.
- For promotions, inclusions/exclusions may differ (details provided with the offer).
- Rates & Child Policy
- Adults (12+ years): standard adult rate.
- Children 5-11 years: 50% of adult rate (sharing bed) or 75% (extra bed); maximum 1 child per 2 adults.
- Children under 5 years: free of charge; maximum 1 child per 2 adults.
- Seasonal rates apply based on departure date.
- Mandatory Surcharges
- Christmas Eve (24 Dec) & New Year’s Eve (31 Dec): surcharge applies, varies by cruise.
- Lunar New Year: surcharge applies, varies by cruise.
- Third Person in a Cabin
- A third adult (12+) must use an extra bed and pays 90% of adult rate.
- Not all cabins allow a third adult due to space restrictions.
- Cancellations & Amendments
By You
- Must be made in writing (email). Effective upon our confirmation.
- Cancellation charges:
- More than 30 days before check-in: Free of charge
- 30-11 days before check-in: 15% of total rate
- 10-7 days before check-in: 30% of total rate
- Less than 7 days or no-show: 100% of total rate
Amendments by You
- Name changes allowed up to 3 days before departure.
- Departure date changes allowed up to 15 days before departure (subject to availability).
- Other changes may incur fees and are subject to supplier approval.
By Us (Before Departure)
If we must make a Major Change (e.g., change of departure date, time, vessel, or itinerary), you may:
- Accept the changes,
- Move your booking to another date (subject to availability),
- Choose an alternative trip (price adjusted), or
- Cancel and receive a full refund or credit.
- Weather Policy
Cruise operations are subject to safety regulations issued by local authorities. If a cruise is canceled or shortened due to weather:
- Cancellation before 11:00 on departure day: Full refund
- Restricted cruise (up to 4 hours sailing): Refund minus USD 100 per person/day
- Overnight cruise ending before 10:00 on Day 2: 50% refund
- Two-night cruise ending before 18:00 on Day 2: 20% refund
- All other circumstances: No refund
- Excursions & Activities
- Many excursions require walking or light trekking. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
- Activities may depend on weather, seasonality, or minimum/maximum participants.
- We will attempt to replace canceled activities but cannot guarantee substitutes or compensation.
- Flights & Transfers
- Airfares are not included unless otherwise stated.
- We are not responsible for flight delays, cancellations, or amendments.
- Passengers must ensure timely arrival for transfers and embarkation.
- Complaints
- Please report any issues immediately to cruise management for resolution.
- If unresolved, submit a written complaint to us within 28 days of trip completion, including booking reference and details.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, war, epidemics, government actions, strikes, severe weather). In such cases, bookings may be terminated without cash refund. Instead, future credit may be offered at our discretion, subject to settlement of outstanding charges.
- Liability
- We exercise reasonable skill in selecting suppliers but are not responsible for their performance.
- We are not liable for emotional distress or psychological injury unless caused by physical injury due to our proven negligence.
- We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control, as outlined under Force Majeure.
- Travel Documents
- You must hold valid passports, visas, and other required documents.
- We reserve the right to deny boarding if documentation is incomplete, with full cancellation charges applied.
- Health & Medical
- Passengers with medical conditions must inform us before booking.
- A medical certificate may be required if fitness to travel is uncertain.
- No medical staff are onboard; treatment is provided at local facilities at passenger’s own cost.
- Travel insurance covering medical expenses and repatriation is strongly recommended.
- Passenger Information & Data Protection
- Full passenger details must be provided 14 days prior to arrival.
- Personal data may be shared with service providers, immigration, or security authorities as required.
- Failure to submit required documents on time may result in denied boarding with full cancellation charges.
- Special Dietary Requirements: Requests must be submitted at least 5 days prior to departure. While we will make every effort, alternatives may not always be possible.
- Luggage
- Dangerous, illegal, or unsuitable items are prohibited.
- We are not liable for fragile or valuable items (e.g., jewelry, electronics) in luggage.
- Cabin storage is limited; guests are advised to travel light.
- Images & Marketing: Images, videos, and maps on our website or brochures are for illustration only and may not exactly represent your cruise experience.
