About Garden Peak Cruise

Originally launched in 2012 as Paradise Peak, the vessel was renovated and reintroduced under the Garden Peak Cruise name in 2026. Managed by the experienced Cycad Cruises team, this traditional wooden boat offers an intimate journey through the quieter landscapes of Bai Tu Long Bay.

Garden Peak Cruise features only 8 spacious suites, accommodating up to 16 guests. Cabins range from 36m² to 39m², with semi-balconies, private balconies, or private sunbed terraces. Every cabin includes generous bay-view windows and an ocean-view Jacuzzi bathtub, creating a comfortable retreat for couples, families, and small groups.

Onboard facilities include a panoramic restaurant and bar, spa and massage services, and an open sundeck for sightseeing, sunset relaxation, and Tai Chi. Departing from Halong Cruise Port, its itineraries explore Vung Vieng Fisherman Village, Cong Do, Thien Canh Son Cave, Cap La Area, and Thay Cave. Cruise itinerary

Morning

Optional pick-up from hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter between 7:30AM and 8:30AM for the transfer to Halong. Arrive at Halong Cruise Port at approximately 12:00PM and relax in the waiting area before embarkation. At 12:15PM, transfer by tender to Garden Peak Cruise. The tender journey takes approximately 5-10 minutes.

Noon

At 12:30PM, board Garden Peak Cruise and enjoy a welcome drink. Attend the safety briefing before checking into your cabin. At 1:15PM, enjoy a Vietnamese set lunch as the cruise begins its journey through the limestone landscapes of Bai Tu Long Bay. At 3:00PM, visit Vung Vieng Fisherman Village. Explore the village by kayak or traditional bamboo boat rowed by a local resident and learn about the area’s traditional fishing culture.

Evening

Return to Garden Peak Cruise at approximately 5:00PM and enjoy refreshments. Happy Hour is available from 5:00PM to 7:15PM, accompanied by a canapé party on the sundeck. At 7:15PM, enjoy a Vietnamese fine-dining set dinner in the onboard restaurant. From 8:45PM, relax on the sundeck, try squid fishing, play board games, or rest in your cabin. Overnight onboard in the Cong Do Area.

Morning

At 6:30AM, join a morning Tai Chi session on the sundeck. At 7:00AM, enjoy a light buffet breakfast as Garden Peak Cruise sails through Bai Tu Long Bay. At 8:00AM, visit Thien Canh Son Cave. Walk up the hillside and explore its limestone formations, geological features, and panoramic surroundings. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Return to Garden Peak Cruise at 9:00AM as the vessel begins sailing back towards the port via a different scenic route.

At 9:30AM, check out of your cabin and settle any additional onboard expenses at the reception. At 9:45AM, enjoy a Vietnamese farewell brunch as the cruise approaches Halong.

Disembark at Halong Cruise Port at approximately 11:00AM. Guests using the optional shuttle transfer arrive in Hanoi at approximately 3:30PM.

Note: The itinerary may be adjusted according to weather, tides, port regulations, or operating conditions. Kayaking and swimming may be cancelled when conditions are unsuitable. Wi-Fi and television signals may be intermittent because of the bay’s limestone geography.

Morning

Begin the day at 6:30AM with Tai Chi on the sundeck. The activity may be cancelled during unfavorable weather.

At 7:00AM, enjoy a light buffet breakfast while admiring the morning scenery of Bai Tu Long Bay. At 8:00AM, relax onboard and prepare for the day’s excursion. At 9:00AM, board the day boat and travel deeper into Bai Tu Long Bay towards Cap La Area, known for its quiet lagoons, small beaches, and limestone islands. At 10:00AM, arrive in Cap La and kayak towards Thay Cave, also known as Master Cave. Explore the secluded limestone surroundings and the cave’s largely untouched natural formations. At 11:30AM, return to the beach behind Cap La Island, with time for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxation.

Noon

Return to the day boat at approximately 12:30PM for refreshments. At 1:00PM, enjoy lunch featuring fresh local dishes while surrounded by the peaceful scenery of Bai Tu Long Bay. At 2:30PM, return to Garden Peak Cruise and enjoy free time to rest in your cabin or relax on the sundeck.

Evening

Cruise Policy

Children Aged 1-4

One child sharing the existing bed and meals with parents: Free of charge.
Limited to one complimentary child per cabin.
From the second child: 50% of the extra-bed rate.
One baby cot per cabin is available free of charge upon request and subject to availability.

Children Aged 5-7

Sharing the existing bed with two adults: 50% of the adult rate.
Using an extra bed: 75% of the adult rate.
From the second child: 100% of the extra-bed rate.

Children Aged 8-10

Sharing the existing bed with two adults: 75% of the adult rate.
Using an extra bed: 100% of the adult rate.
Two children under 11 years old sharing a private cabin: Each child is charged 75% of the adult rate.

Children Aged 11 and Above

Considered adults and charged at the full adult rate.

Surcharge Policy

A compulsory holiday surcharge applies on the following dates:

Christmas Eve: December 24
New Year’s Eve: December 31
Lunar New Year: the 30th day of the final lunar month and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd days of the Lunar New Year

Holiday Surcharge

Adults: VND 800,000 per person
Children aged 5-12: VND 600,000 per child
One child under 5 years old: Free of charge

Holiday surcharges are compulsory and are payable in addition to the cruise price.

Private Charter Option

With only 8 spacious suites accommodating up to 16 guests, Garden Peak Cruise is an excellent option for an exclusive private charter in Bai Tu Long Bay.

A full-boat charter is suitable for families, groups of friends, private celebrations, company retreats, and small incentive groups seeking greater privacy and personalized service. Guests can enjoy exclusive use of the cabins, restaurant, bar, sundeck, and other public areas.

Meal arrangements, dietary requirements, onboard activities, and special-event setups can be discussed in advance. Route adjustments and customized programs may also be considered, subject to cruising permits, weather, tides, and operational conditions.
